3-Day Serengeti Express
At a Glance
"A fast-paced Serengeti experience focused on predator action and endless plains."
The Journey.
Whether you fly in or drive via the highlands, the moment you hit the Serengeti’s 'endless plains,' the scale of Africa truly sets in. After settling into your central Serengeti camp, we head out for a late afternoon game drive. This region is the leopard capital of the world, and our guides will scan the Seronera River’s acacia trees for these solitary cats. We return to camp for a traditional 'sundowner' by the fire, listening to the night sounds of the savannah.
Today is a deep dive into the predator-prey dynamics of the central Serengeti. We spend 8-10 hours in the field with a packed lunch to maximize our distance. We'll track the resident prides of lions that claim the granite kopjes as their lookout points, and search the open grasslands for cheetahs—the fastest land animals on earth—as they hunt in the heat of the day. Every turn of the trail offers something new: a hyena den, a monitor lizard, or a massive herd of buffalo.
Our final morning starts before dawn. The first light of the Serengeti is prime time for action; we might catch a pride finishing a nocturnal kill or see the vast herds beginning their daily movement. After a celebratory bush breakfast, we take a final winding game drive toward the airstrip or park gate, departing with a profound connection to the heart of the wild.
