5-Day Great Migration Safari

Your journey starts with a morning departure toward the Serengeti. As we move deeper into the park, the horizon expands and we begin tracking the early columns of the Great Migration. Afternoon is spent tracking the massive herds and identifying the predators that shadow them.

We spend a full day in the migration zones. Witness the incredible scale of the herds as hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras move as one. We'll find a quiet vantage point to observe their social dynamics and the constant vigilance required for survival on the plains.

Large concentrations of prey attract large concentrations of predators. Today we focus on tracking lion prides and cheetah coalitions as they move strategically alongside the herds. We'll also witness the intense activity at the riverbanks where crocodiles wait in silence.

Final morning in the Serengeti before moving back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The transition into the lush green highlands is breathtaking. We reach our rim-side lodge in time for sundowners overlooking the deep caldera below.

Our final morning is spent on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. This 'African Eden' offers a concentrated wildlife experience where you'll likely see the Big Five before noon. After a lakeside picnic among hippos, we ascend and return to Arusha.
